CPVC resin improves heat resistance: the softening point temperature is 120°C when the chlorine content is 67%. Therefore, its heat resistance is 20~40℃ higher than that of PVC, and CPVC products will not deform in boiling water.

CPVC resin improves mechanical properties: At higher temperatures, some properties such as tensile strength, flexural strength, and hardness are improved compared to PVC, with higher rigidity. However, the impact performance of CPVC is worse than that of PVC and decreases with the increase in chlorine content.
CPVC resin has good corrosion resistance: it is resistant to high-temperature acids and alkalis, is not corroded by hydrochloric acid or hot chlorine vapor, is resistant to linear alkanes and oils, and has excellent corrosion resistance.

CPVC resin has good flame retardancy: it has the characteristics of flame retardancy and good air tightness. It has high insulation resistance and small dielectric loss at high temperatures and has excellent flame retardancy.

CPVC resin has good processing performance: it can be used in commonly used methods for hard PVC processing, that is, it can be processed on PVC processing equipment such as extrusion, injection, calendering, turning, milling, and drilling, and the product has a low shrinkage rate.
Other properties of CPVC resin: Due to the high chlorine content, CPVC does not burn at all and has good flame retardancy.
